Neti-Pot by Himalayan Institute. I first heard about the Neti-Pot from Dr. Oz on Oprah. With the net-pot, you pour warm salt water up your nose to rinse out allergens, mucus, etc. It was very scary at first, but, not painful and SO EFFECTIVE.
I love it and am quite addicted to it during allergy season and when I have colds! It’s also been especially useful while pregnant and congested, since I’ve been avoiding medications. I’ve been so grateful for my neti-pot that I wished my two-year old daughter could experience similar relief. Click on Nasal Irrigation for Children? to see young children (from as young as three-years old) who seem to enjoy it.

From a mom:
During my pregnancy I have been using the following to treat chronic sinus problems – all were recommended by my primary and okay’d by midwives.
· Netti pot with salt and 1 drop of tea tree oil a couple times a day
· X-clear Xylitol nasal spray – it is a homeopathic thing and it works really well – it is made from tree bark or something like that – they carry it at Willner
· Steam shower or steam over a pot of boiling water with Eucalyptus essential oil
